A friend fished Houghton Thursday 7/22 - Sunday 7/25. Bite was really interesting. Focused on jigging edges with plastics for walleyes. Caught lots of largemouth, crappies...walleye bite was tentative. Caught fish but had to finesse them a bit. Lots of short bits. Best bite was on worm style plastics jigged with a lead head colored 1/8 oz. jig.

Fished Leelanau this weekend. Bite was good. Caught over 30 fish jigging plastics on Saturday 7/24 morning. 6 legals. Fished Sunday 7/25 and caught 4 legals jigging rubber. Lots of fish being caught. Another guy from the campground caught lots of fish pulling live bait over different areas.
